Crochet Face Scrubbies

Check out these super cute, eco-friendly crochet face scrubbies. Perfect for taking off makeup or cleansing your face.

These reusable face scrubbies are the perfect stash busters. They are beginner friendly and almost take no time to make!

Reusable Cotton Crochet Face Scrubbie Pattern

Materials:

  • Cotton yarn (worsted medium 4 weight) I used Bernat Handicrafter
  • 5.5mm crochet hook
  • yarn needle

Abbreviations

  • MR : Magic Ring
  • SC: single crochet
  • HDC: half double crochet
  • DC : double crochet
  • Sl St: slip stitch
  • Ch: chain
  • St: stitch
  • YO: yarn over

Notes:

  • Puff stitch: YO, insert hook and pull loop through (3 loops on hook), YO, insert hook and pull loop through ( 5 loops on hook), YO, insert hook and pull loop through (7 loops on hook), YO pull through first 6 loops, YO and pull through last 2 loops.
  • Patterns are worked in the round.

Pattern One

1: In a MR Ch1, make 6 SC in the ring, join together with a sl st and pull the ring close. (6)

2: Ch 3, DC in same St as the chain, add 2 Dc in each st around, join with a sl st. (12)

3: Ch 3, Dc in same st as the chain, add 2 Dc in each st around, join with a sl st. (24)

4: Ch 2, HDC in the same st as the chain, 2 hdc in each st around, join with a sl st. (48)

5: Fasten off and weave in ends

Pattern Two

1: In a MR ch 1, make 6 SC in the ring, join together with a sl st and pull the ring closed (6)

2: Ch 2, HDC in same st as chain, 2 HDC in each stitch around, join with a sl st. (12)

3: Ch 3, DC in same st as chain, 2 DC in each stitch around, join with a sl st (24)

4: Ch 1, make a puff stitch in each stitch around, join with a sl st (24)

5: Ch 1, SC around, join with a sl st (24)

6: fasten off and weave in ends.
