I love finding cute storage solutions for around my house. This basket checks all those requirements on my list. plus this basket can also be used a decorative plant pot cover.

This crochet basket pattern is easy and works up quickly. Perfect for making cute storage for every room in your house. It can be used to store toys, blankets, yarn, the possibilities are endless!

This basket is crocheted by holding two strands of worsted weight yarn together. You can use any worsted weight yarn, I used some old red heart super saver yarn I had laying around. Or you can use bulky yarn and use only one strand instead of two.

When crocheting the circular base, each round you will be sl st in the 2nd chain. Not the very top of the chain.
