Super simple, beginner friendly fingerless mittens. These are so easy and fun to knit, you will be making a pair in every colour.

The rolled top gives these fingerless mittens a casual look. Adds a bit of style to a basic mitten.

Notes

  • The pattern is the same for both the right hand and the left hand mitten
  • The ribbing on the bottom of the mitten is a twisted ribbing. But you can knit a regular 1×1 rib instead.
  • The top of the mitten and the top of the thumb are meant to roll down.
  • I used 5mm 12” circular knitting needles and 5mm double pointed needles. You can use just double pointed needles or the magic loop method to knit these fingerless mittens
